Psychotherapist

Talia Golden

Talia attended The Pennsylvania State University for her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and received a Masters in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University. She combines her education with certifications in yoga and mindfulness, offering a holistic approach to therapy. She has expertise in addressing trauma, mood and personality disorders, self-esteem issues, body image and disordered eating, and interpersonal conflicts. She recognizes how each of these presenting problems can be stressed during the perinatal period for individuals, couples and families. She uses evidence-based perinatal and other interventions to guide clients toward resilience, fulfillment, and personal insight.

Talia creates space for clients to compassionately explore, get curious about themselves, and identify their own desired areas of growth. She holds the mirror for clients to feel connected to a witness of their struggles and resilience. She understands that each person moves at their own pace in therapy, and she remains mindful and present with the therapeutic process. Talia understands that everyone has their own unique parenthood journey, and each parent is their own greatest teacher. Goals are always based on the evolution of client progress, and each client's voice is essential to their course of treatment.

"My favorite part of this profession is hearing your stories and perspectives. I enjoy being curious and learning about how you have become the person that you are in front of me. I appreciate every opportunity to witness how you grow through your journey. Much of the work we do will focus on how you want to process what you have endured and what is here and now, as well as how you can intentionally become the next version of yourself”
