Shannon is licensed by the State of Iowa as a Mental Health Counselor and holds Certification in Perinatal Mental Health. She has a Bachelors degree in Social Work and earned her Masters Degree in Counseling, Rehabilitation and Student Development in 2010 from the University of Iowa.

I am a perinatal specialist and have been supporting perinatal women for 9 years. The additional training I have pursued in the area of treating OCD and related anxiety disorders has been incredibly useful in my practice, where I work to bridge cognitive behavioral work and holding.
