Kerry Hare-Buchanan

Psychotherapist

Kerry Hare-Buchanan

Kerry works with clients who are trying to conceive, navigating pregnancy, or adjusting to life after birth. She supports clients in processing current or past perinatal experiences; including grief and loss, the challenges of fertility treatments, medical procedures, or unexpected complications. Her approach aims to be trauma-informed, inclusive, and grounded in each person’s unique experience and needs.  When appropriate, Kerry welcomes partners into parts of the process to support connection and shared understanding.

Kerry earned her M.Ed. in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University in 2023 after transitioning away from a 9.5-year Active-Duty military career. Kerry is a certified Perinatal Mental Health therapist (PMH-C), a parental leave coach, and an active member of Postpartum Support International, with experience supporting diverse perinatal clients since 2020.

If clients are unsure where to start, Kerry offers a steady, supportive place to begin; moving at their pace with thoughtful assessment, gentle guidance, and practical support along the way.

“You are worth the quiet moment. You are worth the deeper breaths and you are worth the time it takes to slow down, be still, and rest.” – Morgan Harper Nichols
