Karen Pearlman Raab
Psychotherapist
Karen specializes in the full spectrum of reproductive mental health—including infertility,
miscarriage, pregnancy loss, traumatic birth, postpartum depression, perimenopause and
menopause—as well as grief, loss, and burnout. Recognizing that these experiences often bring unexpected challenges and profound emotional impact, Karen offers a compassionate, supportive space where clients can safely explore and work through these issues to arrive at a place of greater understanding, strength, and peace. New meaning can be found at each stage of life and Karen’s goal is to support her clients on this journey of healing and growth.
Karen has both personal and professional insights into the life stages her clients face. This allows for a genuinely holistic and empathetic approach, fostering resilience, insight, and acceptance. She helps clients connect with their inner wisdom and strengths, guiding them to navigate changes with intention and care. Her therapeutic approach is person-centered, integrating psychodynamic and attachment theories, motivational interviewing, and mindful self-compassion. With warmth and a deep respect for each client’s journey, Karen helps to reconnect with what matters most and uncover renewed strength along the way.
“My aim is to help clients find resilience and agency in the face of the unchangeable, cultivating new ways to respond with intention and self-compassion. My hope is that what currently feels overwhelming and isolating will become manageable as we work through it together, transforming these challenges into pathways for growth, healing, and a renewed sense of strength.”
