Melanie Kleiman Spera

Melanie Kleiman Spera, MA CCC-SLP, holds a Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and has made the professional leap into the world of maternal mental health due to her passion for this population.

As the Administrator for The Postpartum Stress Center and The Karen Kleiman Training Center, she is dedicated to the smooth operations and management of all team-related responsibilities and educational pursuits.

For the KKTC Melanie will monitor program accreditation compliance, faculty expectations, and will work closely with our Director of Clinical and Counseling Services to ensure efficient and effective planning and delivery of all training programs.

For the PPSC, Melanie will implement strategies and best practices in order to support all clinician and client-related concerns in keeping with our long-standing culture of excellent client care. She will engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with maternal mental health providers to promote our mission of providing exceptional clinical services to perinatal families as well as our well-established commitment to increasing public awareness, advocacy, and educational pursuits.
