Our goal is to engage participants in a casual exchange questions bring us your questions! Some ideas to think about: * How do we as perinatal specialists orient ourselves when we are inundated with somatic training opportunities? * How must somatic approaches be adapted to the perinatal population? * Can we incorporate principles of somatic work and the art of holding simultaneously? * Should perinatal therapists specialize in one modality of treatment or does it benefit the client to apply more than one type of intervention? * Can somatic and holding techniques be experienced sufficiently via teletherapy? * What is the benefit of utilizing both of these approaches? How might it enhance our clinical practice and the experience of our clients? This program that does not qualify for NBCC credit. Note also that we have made the decision not to record our trainings due to the live group and interactive, personal format of our programs.
