Are you screening every pregnant and postpartum woman
for depression and anxiety?

Let us help you comply with the major initiative to combat postpartum depression that was signed into law as part of the health insurance reform law.

New Jersey already mandates screening and education for every postpartum woman.

In Pennsylvania, the Prenatal and Postpartum Counseling and Screening Act, Senate Bill 151 and House Bill 1122 would establish a program to help mothers identify and cope with perinatal depression.

The PPSC Screening Guidelines for the Informed Practice were developed to assist healthcare providers in identifying women who suffer from perinatal mood and anxiety symptoms. The PPSC screening guidelines include diagnostic aids and patient education materials.

The PPSC offers these guidelines to healthcare practitioners and medical offices that practice awareness and state-of-the-art clinical intervention on behalf of pregnant and postpartum women.

We can help you design a screening protocol that best suits the needs of your office.
