• If your agency organization is interested in having one of our PPD specialists come to your site for a presentation, please complete the PPSC Request form and fax it to 610.525.3997. Attention: PPD 101 Training.

• On-site presentations are presently available for parts of PA, NJ, NY, MD, and DE only.

• PPD 101 faculty includes PPSC staff therapists. Please note that specific requests for trainings by Karen Kleiman, MSW should be indicated on the request form and are subject to her availability.

• The essentials of how to screen for postpartum depression

• How treatment options vary and when they are appropriate

• How to overcome barriers to treatment

• When and how to make an appropriate referral for psychiatric or psychotherapeutic support

• How to incorporate prevention plans to reduce the risk of PPD

• How to differentiate between varying distress levels and a postpartum emergency

• How to provide immediate symptom relief until a follow up appointment can be made

• How to establish and maintain PPD support programs customized for each organization, agency, or medical facility
