PPD MASTER CLASS
Level III

Instructor: Karen Kleiman, MSW
Next Master Class: Friday, April 23, 2010, 9am–4pm

Prerequisites:

  • Completion of Level I & II PPSC Training Course

  • A minimum of one (1) year clinical experience in PPD after PPSC training

  • Participants are highly encouraged to bring in a case study for group discussion to the class. It can be video tape, audio tape, written case study, or verbal presentation.

  • Apply early: class size limited to 6 participants.

Training Fees: Level III Master Class six (6) hours @ $600.00

Objectives:

  • Engage in a small group supervision discussion of case presentations

  • Explore the application of various theoretical frameworks and examine potential obstacles to recovery.

  • Refine clinical skills, learn and practice the Kleiman Principles of exceptional postpartum clinical practice

  • Further explore the use of self in therapy and the clinical implications of countertransference through role-play and coaching from senior PPSC staff.

  • Connect with clinicians from around the country to share and learn from each other's successes and area of vulnerability while establishing a network of clinical support and professional resources.

Applications can be faxed or mailed to the PPSC.

Closer to the training date, please complete the case presentation form and send prior to the training date.

Cancellation Policy
Prior to four weeks of the program, you will receive a full refund minus $75.00 administrative fee. Within 2 weeks advance notice, credit will be issued toward training.
